Uniform and Hygiene

At GK Public CBSE School, students’ uniforms play a significant role in fostering a sense of unity, self-confidence, and personal pride. Adherence to the prescribed uniform standards and proper hygiene is not only a reflection of the school’s values but also a key factor in maintaining an environment of discipline and respect. Below are the detailed guidelines:

Uniform Guidelines
  • Students must arrive in clean, well-ironed uniforms that conform to the school’s specified pattern and fabric shade.
  • Canvas shoes should be polished regularly and kept in good condition.
Girls’ Hair
  • Long hair must be neatly plaited.
  • Short-haired girls must wear a white hairband.
  • Accessories such as flowers, chains, and dangling earrings (gold or artificial) are not permitted with the school uniform.
Hygiene and Personal Care

Students must carry a handkerchief, a spoon, and a small napkin or paper napkin in their lunch basket. Eating with bare hands is discouraged and seen as unacceptable.

Students are expected to maintain cleanliness and organization in their belongings and treat all school property, including furniture and equipment, with care. Any damages will result in a fine.

Behavior and Responsibilities
  • All students must speak English within the school premises to enhance communication skills and fluency.
  • Regular completion of homework, assignments, and projects is essential, reflecting responsibility and discipline.
  • Students are encouraged to utilize the school library frequently to develop a habit of reading and expand their knowledge.
Parental Cooperation
  • Your support in ensuring these guidelines are followed will help maintain a respectful and orderly school environment, while also instilling important values in the students.
